7. What are your dream roles? Red Ridinghood from Into the Woods. I admire her spunk :)

8. A musical that you’re dying to see. Right now I’m pretty much obsessed with Newsies. I’d also love to be able to see Les Mis in the West End before cast change.

9. If you were to watch the last musical of your life, which one would it be? Probably either Les Mis or Next to Normal.

13. Who should have played Marilyn - Ivy or Karen? (SMASH) Oh goodness, I love them both. I think that Ivy is better for the part, and that she should be Marilyn someday. However, I do think that Karen deserved it. So I guess that means Karen? Screw it. Ellis should be Marilyn!

16. What shows have you seen? [Tour casts included] Joseph, Seussical, Wizard of Oz, Bye Bye Birdie, Les Mis US Tour, Peter and the Starcatcher, etc.

26. Have you met any Broadway stars? The cast from Peter. :) They were all so sweet! I had a lovely chat with Adam about the ending of the play versus the ending of the book. Also, I met Alain Boublil (He counts as a Broadway star right?) a few months ago at a concert in Baltimore. And by “met” I mean that my friend was in the chorus and I was backstage with her. I stood next to him in the hallway (he was talking to someone and I was too shy and scared to interrupt him) and when he turned to leave our arms brushed. :) It was all I talked about for weeks! I also met Terrence Mann at the same concert.

28. Does your family enjoy musicals as much as you do? Nope. Not a bit. My sister trys, and she likes a few, but the rest of my family just makes fun of my unhealthy  obsession.

29. First musical you saw. Joseph when I was 8 or 9.

Thanks so much! :)

Hello Everyone!

musical-crossovers:

So listen, I’m leaving for the summer and I’ll only have internet access once or twice a week so I’d really like to fill the queue up so that there’s no slacking while I’m gone.

So everyone should be really sweet and put a whole bunch of requests/submissions in  the ask box so that we can fill it up.

Thanks everyone!

I’m leaving June 12th and I’ll be gone until mid August so I’m trying to fill the queue up until early September if I can. So go request/submit something! :)

1: This is an unfair question…how can anyone choose? Ok, um, I’ll say “Maria” from Sound of Music because that’s the song that first got me interested in musical theater.

2: Les Mis and N2N. The usual. Sorry. :)

19: Cats and RENT. I like RENT but I don’t understand what all the fuss is about. And I tried so hard to enjoy Cats but it just grates on me.

20: The Count of Monte Cristo the Musical. I love the book and the music is so beautiful! It needs to come to Broadway!

Thank you for doing this! :)
